In 2023, we awarded the Town of Acton $1.5M in MVP funding to protect 57 acres and incorporate 2 wells into the municipal water supply. This week, we celebrated the opening of the Water Supply and Open Space Preservation Project, which has made the town more resilient for the future.

Today, Secretary Tepper downgraded the Cape Cod Region to a Level 1-Mild Drought after being at Level 2-Significant Drought since January. In the Islands Region, Dukes County has been downgraded to Level 0-Normal Conditions, while Nantucket County remains at Level 1-Mild Drought.
