It's funny how we've colloquially accepted 'Talons' to fill a plot hole in our communal lexicon. Can't call them bird feet because we have a purely fictional existence of bird 'feet' strong enough that its use overrides our factual understanding. But nor are they talons, not as far as we call'em.
