Mirror journalist asks why violence committed by white men never seems to matter
White officials redirect public concern, downplaying the dangers of Islamophobia while disproportionately amplifying antisemitism

It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea

ICE is a bad acronym for an organisation as it’s already a common word. Why not Service for Tracking And Scrutinising Immigrants (STASI for short).

Was just about to post exactly the same thing: 11 arrested- three on manslaughter charges, 8 on related charges. In comparison, a report recently said nobody here will be charged till 2026. * see enclosed screenshot.

Irony: People saying the BBC is biased towards the left when a big part of why they’ve all been radicalised to vote Tory and Reform is BECAUSE of (yes you guessed it) the BBC’s right wing bias. Couldn’t make it up. Thicker than a submarine door.

Just had the craziest idea. Try this on for size: any country which wishes to reduce the quantity of compulsory daily mass-shootings could make private ownership of firearms illegal. The UK did it after that Michael Ryan dude. I bet it would work elsewhere, too.

It’s clear that the main goal of the Maxwell interview was to get her to say that she didn’t see Trump do anything wrong. Which can only mean that there is something in the files that suggests that he did. Why else would she need to say that? The interview is more incriminating, not less.
