I will always share this too. Everyone needs to read it. I almost drowned when I was 6. In a busy pool with people standing around me - none of them realised I was drowning. If my Dad hadn’t seen me go under from the opposite end of the pool, I wouldn’t be here today.

A great article that articulates some of my own thoughts on the assisted dying bill. Increasing choice and improving palliative care isn’t mutually exclusive. We can do both. Even with the best possible palliative care, some people would prefer to have the right to choose.

It's good to see the government reconsider its position on winter fuel payments. But this is no help to working age terminally ill people. Even if they're living IN POVERTY, working age terminally ill people still can't get the payment - simply because they're dying too young.

People who are terminally ill should NEVER have to worry about being able to afford their bills or other essentials. This is a truly sad and shocking situation – and it’s happening to people right across the UK. 💔
