My flash piece, Your Entry to Paradise Memorial Experience, is out in Analog. With this I complete my youthful 20th century dream of publishing in Asimov's and Analog. @hugogirlpodcast.bsky.social, this is my first female main character. But it is second person, so is it mansplaining?

#murderbot was excellently portrayed, but for my money Mensah and Gurathin were the two outstandingly acted roles of the series. They really added substance to what could have been a lightweight action/comedy.

That was a chef's kiss of an ending for #Murderbot. I was fearful of some tinkering that I saw in the previews, but the additions, particularly Gurathin's role in it was perfect. Now we must wait for season two and ART!

That #murderbot episode was so intense, for the first time I appreciated the episode’s ridiculous short length.

OK, call me slow, but I just saw the parallel they have set up between #Murderbot and Gurathin (evil past overcome by kicking a governor module or drugs) This could be an epic resolution of their distrust of each other.

Ok, that episode of #murderbot was a little scattered, certainly compared to the last episode. I cheered the early deviations from the book, but this may be drifting too far away. Hopefully it will refocus next week.

I have to admit, every change they've made in #murderbot from the text has made the show better. My normal charges of sacrilege are muted. They understand media transition better than any adaptation I have seen. This episode showcases this spectacularly.
