I'll throw some feelers out here to see if this gets anything but : Does any one know of a Repair Shop that would be able to do retro consoles? (Mainly Game Gear and Xbox) I asked the one around my neck of the woods and it would be 6 Months before they get Game Gear Capacitors >_<

I just wrote lines of code (in C#) for the first time since I graduated college 10 years ago... it isn't much, but I did it in roughly 30 minutes on my lunch break..

So far KDE Plasma with Linux Mint has worked pretty amazingly, but apparently i'm *not* supposed to use Plasma with Mint (found that out after i already installed it) So the question is : Do I stay on linux mint (And bye bye goes KDE Plasma) or do I have to find another operating system?

Alright, Week 2 of Requests! this time it's @garudifairfeather.bsky.social and @disasterfluffle.bsky.social 's picks for what they wanted to see Pretty sure they wound up draining their channel points for like.... 6 requests lol

As much as I love my game gear, I think literally everything on it needs replacing. The audio no longer works and the screen, while still not horrible, has a ton of dead pixels, which would probably mean at the minimum getting the capacitors replaced, if not just having a complete overhaul.

I want 2 of them Also i legit bought the 8bitdo Pro3 last month thinking that a new Steam Controller just wasn't gonna happen, whoops...

And, for no good reason (Even though the discord had the schedule since Saturday around noon) Another late stream schedule ... The habit will be broken eventually, I swear!

I didn't get a chance to show it off before hand, but the MemCard Pro 2 finally came in! Now for the Memcard Pro GC and Memcard Pro VMU and ill be good to go! .... Also I'd love a Memcard Pro for N64, just saying

Finally, got the schedule up around the same time my Discord gets it. (Also if it looks odd, is because I kinda peacemealed it together because I swapped from Photopea to GIMP and kinda winged it)

So based on the advice I got given, im using KDE Plasma with Linux Mint, so far it isn't bad Also last nights stream went well, so I think this time it'll actually be a permanent OS change

As for the other reason, I finally got the Sonic games for Sega Master System (Minus the Brazil only release of Sonic Blast)

So yeah: Mute the trolls. And mute the people who catastophize about the trolls. This shit is bad enough and hard enough as it is.

And - food for thought - the shitstain in the White House never would have had a political platform without it. Being as pointlessly cruel as possible all the time only became a winning strategy because of this system.

I make liberal use of the Mute Words feature, and mute entire accounts if they get too doomery. I just counted - I have 90 muted terms! I add a new one whenever a horror breaks containment. Social media is the most miserable, hopeless way I've ever seen to keep up with news that matters.

Finally, the MemCard Pro is set up!! (This ones for PS1, ill probably pick up ones for PS2, GameCube and Dreamcast eventually)

I will forever give props to Retro Creators who don't just shit on Sports games for no reason besides "Sport Game Bad" *deathglares at Now in the 90's/ProJared*

Also from last week, the 2nd strangest Madden game (Behind Madden for the TurboGrafx CD) This is probably the closest thing to a fully playable version of the Cancelled Madden NFL 96 for PS1 (Seriously check out footage of this game and then 96 for PS1, the sprites and movements are similar)

Finally, it's here! Hopefully it'll help with the consoles that haven't been doing all too well with my capture card

I made Pong in under a week in Unreal Engine. The base gameplay stuff took longer than I thought it would. I just finished the AI Paddle today. It works, but it could be better. I might spend another week adding more things to this game. #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine
