Ah, the predictable irony that I am myself back in a rough one today. Those blue holes seem bottomless sometimes. Anyway, I’m ok, or will be ok, just figured I’d be open about it, in case anyone needs to know they’re not the only one. We’ll get through it.

TL;DR: My top twelve albums for 2025. It was a really good year for listening to music (and maybe not much else).

Now listening to experimental ambient music from October of this year. L.A. composer/creator claire rousay makes these unexpected, stretchy, delicate soundscapes that seem to bleed into everything around them.
