Furthermore, the CBC article itself is quite troubling. It includes a comment from an activist involved in anti-trans extremism while neglecting to include any comment from the prisoner or from any trans-related advocacy organization. It also doesn't feature any critical analysis of CSC's claims.

So here's how this playbook goes. CSC blanket refuses requests by trans women without GRS to be held in women's institutions citing "overriding health and safety concerns" every time. When made to defend its decision in court, it raises bogus arguments that would apply to virtually any trans woman.

It's abuser logic. The abused must always be composed, polite, and even-keeled, trying to find ways to prevent their own abuse in a way that does not upset abusers, b/c then they won't listen. It's your own fault, you weren't polite. Abusers are allowed the luxury of anger, the abused are not.
