I've been drawing again for the ENTER HERE anthology. It's nice, to be drawing again. I think I'll do it more. Even if it's not something I'm excellent at, it makes me happy.

I've gotten to the third POV of THE VEGETARIAN. This book is so wild, I can't wait for book club. 💙📚

Empathy is in short supply these days. Makes me sad.

Priest is 900 words in. Bad words. Zero draft words. But they're MY words and I am proud of them. #writing

It's hard when everyone wants your writing to be different than it is. Not talking about reasonable edits, but like, be more Sanderson, be less young. Is there someone out there who just want what I write the way I write it? With MY voice?

The current goal is to finish this novel by new year's. I'm going to have to get way less burnt out for that to happen, but I'm leaving it for now. Something to work towards. I can always shift the goalposts later. #writing
