found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page

also worth noting is when you do this face design my god it is so hard to emote it its why so many emotional Elsa scenes read real weird and why 3D animation has moved towards making special anime-inspired expressions (like KPDH or Spider-verse) for exaggerated emotions

After movies with incredible costuming like Raya its weird seeing them regress backward to this weird 2015 type tube model with the same facial topology they created back then. Even things like Wreck It Ralph were more adventurous, character modeling wise. Like is it a budget problem? 😐
