This is such a bummer. TheGamer basically let me write whatever jokes I wanted about whoever I wanted in the video game industry - to the point of getting legal threats. Few places give freelancers that much freedom. It’s sad to see so many good staff writers and editors let go.

Sam’s such an incredible talent - he’s going to keep doing amazing things, no doubt about it. TG’s definitely lost something special with him gone. Hire him! He’s great!
