I’m so close to being finished on a pretty cool quilt project, but I’m going to have to keep it secret for a couple of months just in case someone from the guild finds me here, because it’s for a challenge and has to be kept secret but its so cool! 😤

Once again I am struck by how few venues there are for novella length stories. Novella is probably my favourite size of story, and I'm always struggling to find them to read, and even moreso struggling to find places to submit them :(

Waiting to hear back on a submission, a friend subbed same time I did and got a personalised rejection within a week. So either they're considering my story, or it got lost in the system and eaten by the computerrrrrrrrr... Wish I could find out right now.

I finished the first draft of my novella, now I’m in the stage where I’m afraid to look at the doc because what if the whole time I thought I was writing I was actually in a fugue state typing word salad and it actually doesn’t make sense at all. Hmm.
