I love the boating life, suits me perfectly, but the horror story potential of both the boats themselves and of our way of living is really underexplored. There's just so much there to work with.

Since something happened at some show that people are talking about solo devs, I will repeat the definition I use for solo dev: If you die, you cannot be replaced and the game dies. Teams can replace people. A solo dev project has one person that drives it all and can't be replaced. #indiegamedev

I sadly don't think it's too dramatic to suggest that. Whilst the 'advancement' of technology has caused in some ways hard labour (and thought processes) to be given over to something else - a calculator, a computer, etc., this feels like a much more drastic and widespread change for the worse.
