I watched a video on designing foundation pieced blocks and thought I would give it a shot.. it’s fucking hard! This little 12x8 block has 86 PIECES!!! I now understand why they tend to be simple shapes.. since organic shapes are so hard to make with straight sides that can be pieced. #quilting
