I’m one of the people who can’t get immunity to measles or chicken pox even after having had it or having been vaccinated. We rely on herd immunity to lessen our risk. The most baffling overlap is the one between pro-life and anti-vaxx!

Today would have been my brother Ty’s 40th birthday. I hate that he’s not here to celebrate all that life can be. After another mental health crisis in a loved one this week, I’m very aware of how precious life is, and that we’re not promised another day with anyone. Hug your people today.

On Sunday, April 12, our worship service will focus on Justice and Peace in the Holy Land. A light Middle Eastern lunch will be served after the worship service. Before the service, there will be a sale of Palestinian goods (details on the second slide).

A friend of mine said, “Nothing cleans like company” and that is so apparent. I just discovered a dog toy and bully stick graveyard under the couch. Jackson is having a great day!

I did so well shovelling thanks to my amazing neighbour and his snow blower. Lifted carefully, stretched. Walked the dogs carefully. Came to work and threw my back out moving chairs. Sigh 🤦🏻

Walking the dogs was fun tonight. Jackson is such a puppy for an old guy. He chased the snow people were throwing with their shovels. They’re smart to be doing it tonight. It’s going to be very heavy in the morning.

Oh that’s sad. My gosh they played so well.

Sitting in the ER waiting for my youngest to be seen and driving my blood pressure up watching the game. The defence on these teams is outstanding. The goalies are amazing.

Stating the obvious but wow is this city ever built for drivers. I bused to Costco. Get off at the bus stop, walk up the road because there are no sidewalks… At least Costco wasn’t busy. I might need to rethink getting my prescriptions there.

The light is coming back. 12/21/2025 had 8:48:35 of light. Today has 10:17:01 of light. We gained 1:28:26 of light. We are almost at an hour and a half. Spring arrives in 38 days.
