#RPGaDay Day 30/31: Experience/Reward After skipping a day, I'm wrapping up #RPGaDay2025 with a look back and a look ahead.

A #TTRPG where the GM earns rewards for running sessions, which they can use on their characters next time they’re a player. Would encourage everyone at the table to run games and could get forever GMs to sit back and relax as players.

Something I wish more #ttrpg players would understand about the perpetual problem of not learning the player-facing rules, is that learning them is the single most powerful tool there is for exercising player agency. When you refuse to bother learning the rules, you also reject your agency.🧵

#RPGaDay2025 Day 24: Reveal Emergent storytelling through unexpected actions and well designed narrative system can reveal a better story.

One of my favorite parts of running combats in #DrawSteel is that at the end of round 1, I always feel like I overcooked the fight. And at the end of round 2, I’m wondering where all my monster went as the heroes started to get the resources to deal with the more efficiently.

Ironsworn keeps being an amazing game.
