I LOVE the Fantastic Four, with Invisible Woman being one of my favorite super heroes of all time. So I was ecstatic to be given lead of the #MTGxMarvel commander decks…AND got to make an entire Fantastic Four themed one. 😎 #WOTCStaff (Naturally it had to be 4 color.)

Really enjoyed Rhystic Studies' look at Fallen Empires, a set very dear to me. Sam speculates that Homarid Explorer in Dominaria may have been inspired by a puzzle sent to R&D by @loreleywrites.bsky.social, though notes that Loreley dismisses this theory. I can shed some light! (🧵)

Fresh off the painting table, a Deathblow class heavy droid for #Warhammer40K. This is a rare miniature from Citadel's short-lived Slocombe's Warbots range. For my midlife crisis, instead of buying a sportscar, I bought this off eBay.

Bread ends are 5¢ a piece at the delicatessen near my high school and did you know that TECHNICALLY you can go to the salad bar there and buy olive oil by the ounce as if it were an equal weight of salad? Anyway, I spent my lunch money on booster packs again.

Today I shed my hard-but-small shell, leaving aside my old life as a Senior Game Designer to assume a new one as a soft, squishy young Principal Game Designer. #WotCstaff

A few years ago these terrain pieces would BE the project. I'd paint 'em up, and be satisfied. Now they're like the preliminary 10% that will kick off something much bigger. Summer project just kicked into high gear.

When I joined #wotcstaff 5 years ago, I was asked to help a mini team explore ideas for draft. One of the ideas we came up with was 4 player, pick 2 draft. A ton of work has happened since then, but I’m proud that we’re finally unveiling the idea almost exactly as it was when we first thought of it!
