Right now, given a choice of the two countries, if I had to go to either the USA or Russia, I'd probably opt for Russia. The US seems to be descending so fast and so chaotically into a dystopian reality, I wouldn't have confidence in the situation for more than a day or two ahead. Madness.

The Government coming off X is the bare minimum and realistically at this point I think we should seriously be looking at taking enforcement action against the company, in line with the Online Safety Act and VAWG Strategy. I will be pressing the Government on this when Parliament returns next week.

Today I voted for protecting nature. The Lords added sensible, evidence-based amendments to the Planning & Infrastructure Bill to strengthen nature protection. But the govt rejected them. Ministers need to listen - to experts, to trusted organisations, and to the public.
