A rough install of the IC-2730 in the car. I need to route the cables a bit better and add a proper battery connection, it is running off a cigar lighter plug right now while I work out the wiring. But I think the location is ok, doesn't interfere with anything, easy to see and reach.

Yesterday I went to Balmoral to do some radio stuff, there were horses. I didn't take many pictures, this is all of them.

I was up early this morning, so had another couple of hours trying to get the zbitx working. Latest software version seems to hang and the screen is unresponsive after the firmware update.

Friday evening, pulling apart a zBitX and rebuilding the software while listening to Russian folk music. This is how I roll when I am home alone. Wait until I get a beer!

I need to procure some monitors for the shack. I have radios; I am not going to say enough, but I have radios. I have the PC's or Raspberry Pis, but I need more screen estate to run DX Chrono from @mm9sql.com and other bits.

A fine morning. Just back from a couple of hours out with the dogs. Cold but clear, nice frost on the ground.

I've had a week off Bluesky. It was quite nice not be here, but I did miss some of the interactions I have with people here. I didn't miss the negative interactions, though. They had more of an impact than they should, which probably said more about how I was feeling than their value.
