I see that ready made mono-band (LC circuit) end fed half waves retail for about £50. Don’t see any sold in kits for about £30? Wonder if there’s a gap there? Simple to make and when the sunspot cycle tanks in 2-3 years it’ll all be about efficiency over convenience.

New cars .. sort of hatchback / SUV types. Which makes and models have decent metal coverage on the roof? Seems this is becoming rarer as time matches on. Some day I’ll need to replace the mondeo which provides a big chunk of metal for hf mobile.
