People can forget that we try our best and have real full time jobs and lives in addition to how much we love our team and community. We are lawyers, teachers, feds, nurses, doctors, and students with debt and responsibilities too. We are trying our best!!!!

August-November 2021 and November 2024 were critical mass points in Squadron leadership (at least to me personally). I was easily putting in an extra 10-20 hours a week on Squadron related things on top of my 40+ hours a week job and y’all? It can be so exhausting

A thing about SGs that maybe gets lost until you get up close is that they are work. This can be mental labor in improving relations with team/stadium ops/whoever, and it can also be needing a screwdriver or hauling a massive, uncooperative heap of fabric during a gale warning

Thank you to everyone who made the Friday the 13th tifo a success! It was a labor of love and horror 👻 Check out the unseen work that goes into making a tifo, including the effort it took to raise it in 50mph+ winds and everything necessary to make it (knee pads! many many boxes of fabric!)
