I adore that the fourth expression is simultaneously goofy (with the headtilt and the big pupils) and terrifying (he's way too close and those teeth aren't messing around!). This is what a mouse sees right before the cat gets it.

Yesterday I commented on a friend's recent haircut and he was flattered that I was one of few who'd noticed but what really happened was that I'm not very good with faces and so when I saw him and his hair was different it took me a while to work out that he wasn't a new person I'd never met before
