On Saturday our special conference took a clear and decisive step. Delegates voted to withdraw from an agreement we made via the TUC in 2017 which governs our relationship with school support staff. We want to work together with sister unions to ensure a voice for all education workers.

Imagine there are only FIVE guaranteed fire engines available to cover an entire county at night. That's what Oxfordshire County Council are proposing in the latest round of cuts. They're also proposing to close five fire stations and force 42 firefighters into redundancy.
