NEU members + parents at Univ. of Brighton Academies Trust schools in Hastings & West Sussex have called demonstrations on 22 March over re-brokering of the schools. News has broken that non-academised sixth form colleges have won a pay award. This is welcome news. Striking is exhausting and we did win! I'm so proud of us. But the fight doesn't stop here. Cuts to education continue and we must fight back. We also need to keep watch as fascism is on the rise.
