After finishing NWDWTLHD, I read Yew Tree. Brilliant book but I’m not sure who, in your narrator’s interpretation, was the hidden murderer. Gabriel’s narcissism would’ve probably deterred him,&I’m not sure it’d’ve been worth the effort on Teresa’s part. Can you advise?1/2

a quick thanks for getting my order to me so quickly, and for fifty quid less than your highest profile competitor was asking. You responded promptly to my queries, & have provided great service. Never felt more justified in going with the independent outfit. Keep up the good work.

I don’t want to be too shrill about this but I think the BBC, ITV and Sky have disgraced themselves in their coverage of the anti-refugee protests. A massive failure of judgement. But now we know the next time a progressive protest “isn’t news” that it’s nothing to do with numbers

Hi-I was very much looking forward to your rex-factoring of the remaining 4 emperors but you look to have leapt from episode 110 to 112. Can we expect 111, or should I be grateful to miss Otho’s inevitable but disappointing defeat on points to the dull but worthy Vespasian?

Just caught up w/the Catherine Howard episode and it struck me that if she’d been a king or queen regnant, she’d’ve needed to demonstrate scandalous behaviour in multiple domains to score so highly. Still, it’s great miniseries with Catherine Parr an unexpected breakout star.

More Aggie, please. No idea what her CV is, but she seems far less Murdoch-adjacent in her analysis than the regular contributor.

The Media won't acknowledge this video of the farmers blocking an ambulance with its blue lights on so could you could RT it so people see it?

Even though Ms Badenoch proved herself once again to be an utterly vile individual, I still found myself feeling a bit sorry for her, like when Alan Partridge lamped a guest and had to skulk shamefacedly offstage, with a turkey on this hand, to the tones of Mick Hucknall.

Before today, I didn’t want you to sell off The Observer. Having been obliged to negotiate the website today (for 5 minutes, till I gave up), I really don’t want you to sell off The Observer. Get it sorted. I will gladly pay more for my subscription. Solidarity with

Finished Mr Wilder and Me last night after avoiding it because I’d never knowingly seen one of his films. Just wanted to say, you positively landed that ending, and you’ve inspired me to expand my cinematic horizons.

Fact: It has now probably been longer since British Telecom repurposed the ET character for a series of television commercials than it was since the film had been released when that character was repurposed.

That’s it. Twitter app deleted from phone and bio replaced by passive aggressive whinge. Will miss being followed by Nancy Sinatra, but the seamless transition from Poppy Rage season to wibbling about the imagined cancellation of Christmas did for me. Fingers crossed this place won’t go the same way
