I have a friend whose father died last week and whose mother is dying this week. Heartbreak. A lot of profound loss to metabolize in a concentrated burst. This is putting my current problems in perspective.

In the studio, i go back and forth (seemingly randomly) between “analog forever!” and “digital is fine.” Digital tools are improving every day. The convenience/recall is hard to deny. And they’re much less expensive. Strongly appealing. But I still love the sound and feel of my analog gear.
