Good morning even though the left side of my face is still swollen from yesterday’s dental crown procedure

Argh! My mouth is half numb and half hurting from getting this damn crown done. Well, temporary crown until the real one arrives in 3 weeks.

I need a nice hot shower followed by a glass of bottle of wine. I’d mix them together but my shower lacks a shelf

Why does my back, arms, legs and even groin hurt? Oh yea. Cause I’m old and I just chiseled away at and shoveled my driveway and sidewalk

The Carolina sun has helped with clearing the snow and ice from the street. Not so much the driveway. But that’s all cleared up now with help from my youngest! Hoping for some drying out before it dips to the teens tonight.

The weather seems to be done weathering outside. No more snow or sleet or rain. It won’t get below 31°F from now until tomorrow morning when it gets warmer, so I’ll take care of cleaning it all in the morning. For now, I’ll bask in the warmth I’ve created in my house and keep hoping for no outages

Lazy snow day is really a thing for the dogs. They’ve done nothing all day except go outside to the bathroom and eat this morning…how are they so tired??

When history is told accurately & authentically, people will not think this is an extreme take, but rather one that many have had for some time. I’d rather be killed flying my flag 🇵🇷 (like the US did to my countrymen) than fly any other. And that’s why I choose not to display a particular flag.

Ok so literally heard what sounded like a police scanner. In my house. Where no such scanner exists. Was it the Alexa? Or someone tapping into my cameras? Luckily people were here at the house with me at the time and it stopped when we investigated. Now it’s just me & my two kids. Sleeping. 😬😬

Aside from one night this trip, my original plans have canceled. I made do and enjoyed it. But the thing I’m truly upset about is my boss announcing he’s retiring in 3 months. Today was the last time I will be seeing him in person.

Ugh. Why is my stomach not right today?? Today is a day I HAVE TO be at the office cause I scheduled the main reason for me to travel. Why?!?! 😩😩

It’s only Tuesday but it feels like it’s not. I don’t mind traveling for work but boy has it been a busy week!
