PMDD at least after getting late diagnosed as adhd, i now know why every month my inner voice won't shut up trying to convince me to unlive myself, but still. this month's focus is on how i can't maintain long-term friendships. i hate this so much.

a week ago i completed my first bikepacking trip, 3 days/2 nights camping, ~300km along the Mosel River from the 🇩🇪🇱🇺🇫🇷 border to Koblenz! i did the first half of the trip solo! i'm hooked now on slow travel & carrying everything i need on my bike 😍🚴‍♀️

Did a fun 32km gravel ride through the forest down to the Lahn & Rhein rivers yesterday. Preparing for my 1st bikepacking overnighter (200km+) this week. Didn't know I was capable of doing this stuff without the aid of an e-bike, have surprised myself with my grit & capacity to power up hills.

Did a wunderschön 55km gravel bike loop today, including 2 ferry crossings over the Rhine River.

sound art piece update: I finished wiring & mapping the 240 individual interactive plushy nodes. touch is detected using 8 Bela trill craft boards & nodejs. currently working on the sound design in puredata. will be bringing the project to @futurefrontend.bsky.social in Helsinki next month!

I got a new gravel bike! I had an e-bike previously cuz i was convinced i was past my prime to cycle any kind of distance unassisted, but learned that's not true! Did first small ride (30.2km) on this beautiful bike to go jump in a cold lake!

i finally befriended a second pair of crows during the evening dog walk and i was able to hand feed one of them! i'm gonna nickname this duo, Udo & Ute. I'm hand feeding 2 different crows now!! 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

Working on art/sound project for my talk in Helsinki in May! Building a massive touch detection matrix (120 individual touch points so far) with four Trill Craft boards. I'm also running the C++ code (for detecting touch) in JS using Node-API ✨

i passed my B1 german language test with a grade of "sehr gut" (scored 293/300)!!!! ✨🎉 I'm in shocked i did that well! And i got my results 3.5 weeks after the test! Just waiting on the Einbürgerungstest results to apply for german citizenship 🤞

Disassembled the kitchen in my campervan today to fix some stuff that was annoying and/or was broken after my 2 week trip in remote iceland. Planning to do a trip in December with the dogs, but not sure where yet! 🏞️ 🤔 I just wanna be somewhere far away from people & computers in nature!

I drove my campervan onto a ship in 🇩🇰! (🔜🇮🇸) Having a special interest (off-road camping) that women don't typically do, I have felt too perceived by men everywhere-on the road, campsite, ferry queue, etc in the last 24hrs! I don't wanna be gawked at & i certainly do not wanna talk to random men!

this summer i have happily learned to love going by myself on gravel biking trips outside of berlin, thru forest & fields to lakes where i can take a little swim as a treat. today: 76km/4hr
