🚨 We're excited to be leading a major community listening exercise across Stoke-on-Trent, commissioned by the One Stoke-on-Trent Board. From June to September 2025, we'll be engaging with people across the city to hear about their lives, challenges, hopes and ideas for the future.

The new Israeli-US backed distribution scheme forces Palestinians in Gaza into militarised zones just to access food. Food is now fenced, scanned and weaponised. This is not humanitarian aid. It is a system of forced displacement, surveillance, and mass violence, disguised as relief.

In yet another crackdown on LGBT rights, Hungary’s parliament has passed a law that will outlaw LGBT Pride and similar events. The law, which penalizes organizers and attendees, also authorizes the use of facial recognition technology to identify attendees.

On Holocaust Memorial Day, as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, we honour the Jewish, Roma, Sinti, LGBTQI+, Black & disabled people persecuted by the Nazis. We also recommit to building a future free from identity-based violence, in the UK & around the world 🕊️

Since the ceasefire agreement was announced yesterday at least 73 Palestinians have reportedly been killed by Israeli forces, including 20 children. The violence must stop. The UK Government must do all it can to ensure any temporary pause turns into a permanent ceasefire.

We are alarmed by the #Meta moderation policy changes announced yesterday, allowing dehumanising language targeting #LGBTI people. This threatens safety and dignity. We urge the EU to enforce the Digital Services Act to combat hate speech and misinformation. Hatred has no place online or anywhere.
