Big oof. Krebs keeping that top line spot while Östlund is demoted makes no sense. Why break up a line that's been killer just to get Zucker (who has been terrible 5v5) into the top 6? This Tage line has been his worst combination statistically this season (they are over 50% GF% but barely)

I think Adams tenure had really solid scouting and drafting. They also weren't afraid to lock young guys up early. Mixed bag there but I liked the aggression. I believe Adams downfall was his ego. He always talked like he somehow knew better than everyone.

I'm genuinely optimistic about what this roster could turn into. I'm gutted that the people in charge of the roster are largely incompetent. Being a Sabres fan is truly a tortured existence.

I'm of the belief that Tage has become one of the core issues with this Sabres roster. His offense is welcome of course but he has such a shitty mindset. Last night's game the excuse was that they let a couple bad plays get in their heads. Last shit show the excuse was that they got too cocky.
