Unsurprisingly, I played a bunch of GBVSR this year. Fighting games are just a great little “get better at this one thing” project. I only played Rivals for about 2 months before burning out and dropping it, but it managed to get up here by sheer force of how intensely I played it at the time.

Maybe it's just my music background speaking, but I freaking love video game music and how much a good soundtrack can skyrocket a game's memorability into the stratosphere.

Random thought: If you really want to intimidate someone before playing a game, one of the best methods may very well be a well-practiced button rebind.

I'm really worried about the future. J's post letting me know it's anime day. XD How'd I get into this whole thing? Well, it all started with a friend in high school telling me to watch this thing called "Gurren Lagann." It was gloriously extra, and I was hooked. To this day, the messages about believing in oneself stick with me.

Other than some inaccuracies, (1. We're striking a CONTRACT, not just the bargaining partner signatories. 2. Fi-core is a type of NON-union performer, not a type of union performer.) this is a VERY good & reasonable video. I highly recommend giving it a watch if you're confused/angry/frustrated.
