Update on today's Chicagoland federal immigration agent activity from community group Hijos de Migrantes: As of 2:24 pm, the group reports at least 4 people taken, plus 1 person reportedly detained by DEA. Reported sightings w/o confirmed detentions in Elgin, Glendale Heights, Pullman.

When we create a state that is so focused on cruelty, we are always going to empower people like this. The cruelty is not a byproduct, it is an inevitable consequence.
