I just enjoyed The Bright Sword based on this recommendation! I’m not normally one to go for high fantasy as a genre, but I’ve been really enjoying the Maniculum podcast that explores the real history of the period and this blended the mythology with the history with the anachronisms really well

My favorite thing about Ochi is that his character design is clearly based on the Human Being mascot from Community. Which was chosen by a focus group trying to find the most generically palatable mascot possible, pleasing no one. Surely it isn’t a meta-commentary on Rise of Skywalker itself!

I took the survey. Luckily they included lots of spots to provide details on different aspects of what I don't like about the set, UB broadly, and Standard with UB.

As much as I wish that were true, I think Wizards validating a “canon” version of casual formats tends to petrify the creativity in that space. DanDan itself is from a pre-Commender era where people were much more willing to push the envelope

One of the surprising things about TMNT is that they aren’t supporting the typal themes introduced in Spider-man or Avatar. The heroes aren’t heroes, the villains aren’t villains, and the allies aren’t allies. I really thought we’d see more overlap!
