33 years ago today marked the first day of principal photography on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, all on Paramount Stage 4. Avery Brooks, Colm Meaney, Nana Visitor, and guest actor Gene Armor (as a Bajoran bureaucrat) filmed scenes that day.

An army of talented people made Lower Decks possible, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished. Thank you to everyone who has watched and shared and said kind things about the show. 🖖
