FISHBOWL is utterly beautiful. A life sim where you play Alo, 20-year old moving alone for the first time, while going through some heavy emotions relating to loss, grief, and isolation. The demo almost made me cry already, and I'm not done with it yet. I can't wait to play the full game in March.

I quite enjoyed my time with this demo, though I will say streaming something like this was a very different experience. The artwork and music were all lovely and made for quite a gentle feeling. It is featured on the curation page, alongside any other demos I find to be enjoyable this Next Fest.

First demo I checked out was Fishbowl by @imissmyfriends.bsky.social Described as a "narrative game about dreams, grief, and hope", Fishbowl is about a young woman processing the loss of a dear loved one during a huge transitory period in their life. Warnings galore: this one is a real tear-jerker.
