This. Plus, something I feel like is so rarely talked about when UBI is discussed is how it would make part-time service jobs so much more desirable. If the question is "just UBI and scrape by okay" or "UBI + a part-time job and I can take the kids on a vacation" then people will want these jobs.

This is also why unions should support UBI, btw.
