Hear me out! So far the Elven Rings have been used on Elves. I guess The Great Lindon Tree kind of counts. Then they used it on Calam Lynch’s character. It obviously worked on Adar. Albeit temporarily because of how deep his scars and trauma were. So I guess what I’m saying is that this somehow 1/2

I’ve heard the criticism of the Mormon influence in costume design before. And the example certain people have given me is the Annatar reveal scene, which apparently looks quite vanilla compared to a full crazy Catholic influence one. And as a former Catholic, I thought it was still a cool scene 🤷‍♂️
