I finished AC Shadows and got to its *FINAL* final ending (it has three). I feel bad for the people who played it but didn't reach the very end, they missed encountering a really badass Templar: Nirmala of the Black Cross. This character scared the shit out of me. Voice actress did an amazing job.

The neon color scheme of X-Factor has always scratched my brain in a really satisfying way, so I love that X-Men '97 leaned into it. So cool to see this team finally appear in animation. Turning them into cops, akin to Freedom Force? Less cool.

I want to re-emphasize one part of this Xbox story: Half of the 3,200 cuts are happening today and half are happening in the next 12 months. In other words, even people who survived today's layoffs will have to spend the coming year wondering if they're going to be next.

I'm back on my AC Shadows bullshit again (Black Flag is just around the corner) and I'm STILL blown away by how this game looks. The fidelity is off the charts and the world is really thoughfully designed. Ubisoft games don't get enough credit in that regard.
