No conversation about crime is useful unless we talk about what causes most city crime: exploitation and poverty. Any intervention that isn't aimed at reducing the working class oppression that leads to poverty (wage slavery, for-profit housing, over-policing etc) will simply not work

they think they can just erase trans joy and trans freedom. they can't. they can make things a lot harder and more painful. but that joy and that freedom is not theirs to take and it is incumbent on all good people to say so.

Don't believe we can change the world? It's changing anyways. Decide what kind of world you want to live in. Daydream about it. Write about it. Talk talk talk talk talk about it. Get on a soapbox and preach about it. Paint it, cook it, build it, sing it, dance it, scream it, sigh it,
