Teaching (especially upper grades) is wild because within 20 minutes I can go from helping a kid practice morphology with single-syllable words (ie changing rain to pain to pail to nail etc)...to discussing soci-political themes in "Among the Hidden" with a group of 10 year olds. My brain hurts.
