PEI residents wanted to name the bridge Abegweit Crossing, in honour of the Mi'kmaq name for PEI. The federal government instead chose Confederation Bridge. In 2022, the PEI legislature voted to rename the bridge Epekwitk Crossing but this needs federal approval. ๐งต 10/12

They have gutted rent controls, refused increases in minimum wage, eroded public housing & healthcare etc
