‘Hope’ Review: Na Hong-jin’s First Act Monster Mash is Overlong Schlockbuster Core [C-] Cannes
Simply the idea of coming to the Cannes Film Festival carries with it a slew of hopes and dreams, a true pinch me experience at one of the most glamorous and prestigious international film festivals. Being among the first to screen an absurd number of world premieres is among the many privileges offered to those who attend. For this year’s festival, director Thierry Frémaux noted that the selection committee narrowed a whopping 2,541 submitted films down to a mere 22, those of which compete for the most highly coveted awards, including the Palme d’Or.

‘Oh, Hi!’ Review: Logan Lerman is Shirtless While Molly Gordon Shines in Entertaining, Hilarious Screwball Comedy [B] | Tribeca
Romantic destination getaways are an undoubtedly bold move that can make or break any new relationship. Even during the happy-go-lucky honeymoon phase, they’re bound to simulate a pressure cooker not unlike a season of Survivor crammed into a few days. But good luck even getting to that stage after finding someone who you can trust, seems compatible, has similar relationship goals, doesn’t have commitment issues, and isn’t secretly scrolling the apps for other eligible dates.

Interview: ‘Severance’ Cinematographer, Producer, and Director Jessica Lee Gagné Breathes New Life Into the Groundbreaking and Record-Breaking Office Drama [VIDEO]
There’s only one motto that encapsulates both the ethos of the most captivating sci-fi show of the year and the artists who create such a rich, complex world of originality: “The work is mysterious and important.” One of these artists that has continued her work on the Apple TV+ drama Severance is the talented cinematographer, producer, and director, Jessica Lee Gagné.
