California’s “insurer of last resort” is proposing a 36% rate hike after catastrophic wildfires caused billions in losses. Big Oil is fueling this crisis. Here it comes. Not so thinly veiled efforts to grant legal protections for oil companies who KNEW (since the 1960s) and LIED (for decades) about their role in perpetuating the climate crisis. All while communities suffer the catastrophic consequences these companies knew would occur. Sickening.
