Sublime Serbia! We recently completed our trail blazing butterfly tour of Serbia, and it was a resounding success! An amazing 133 butterfly species were positively identified, and we probably saw at least 5-10 more that didn’t meet our strict criteria for a clear ID.

Growing up in Gloucestershire, I was fortunate to always have the Comma as a familiar friend. I had no idea that, at the time, it was a national rarity. It's so good to see that this species has bucked the trend and has expanded its range significantly since ... and is spectacular in all its stages!
