SO important. Don’t even have them in your house. Happened to me, i had no idea and we had to keep her at the vet with an IV. Don’t let it happen/if they eat one, *don’t* wait to see what happens, just go straight to the vet. if you wait for a reaction it might already be too late to save them

"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight." I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤

I found a fun analogy to writing frustrations: birds lovingly pecking the shit out of each other, which puzzles and intrigues you, and then they look at you like "whut?" when you try to capture it. On the good days, you get the weird, perplexing stuff on the page to hopefully show ppl one day.

Sometimes you think it's quiet so you start working on your book and then your kid comes in to tell you they can show the middle finger without doing it and they show you a bent popsicle stick held between their teeth and you say that's pretty creative and then go post on SM.

My daughter used my foundation to apply blush yesterday in preparation for the dress rehearsal of her play. I wiped off what I could this morning but I’m definitely walking around with a bit of a pink tint on my face at work today. 🫥
