The painting is DONE. I spent several hours scanning it (I had to stitch 4 fragments together). For the rest of the time, I was essentially chopping smalt. I was too tired to work meaningfully, but I couldn't sleep either. Apparently, I've been pricking the smalt for at least 4,5h today.

I downloaded SAI 2 (the first version doesn't have the tool I need). Due to Internet blockages, the laptop has even less memory for programs than before, so this attempt has become a necessity. I've been climbing a bit, and I really like what I see.

I really don't like acrylics. I don't know why almost everyone likes him, he's terrible lol. I didn't buy the cheapest/kid paint. Acrylic is like that on its own. When I started reading more about it to understand why my experience was different, I saw pitfalls that many articles didn't mention.

Should start the morning by pricking the smalt. It takes thousands of hours of work to crack all the smalt I have. So it's better to do it bit by bit. The minimum size of the tesseras that I can make is 2 mm. The shape is a rectangle closer to a square, and a triangle.
