Well. The news is in: A/C unit is shot. But the whole HVAC system is so old, in order to bring it up to current code and efficiency standards, the lot of it's gotta go. Massive chunk of my savings gone. And not online until Wednesday. I'm a prime mark for financial exploitation.

I really hope I can get my A/C repaired today, because my house is unlivable with the muggy summer GA heat bringing it up to 90°F in there. To say nothing of the HOA that's threatening me again.

I can be, an am, disrespected, harassed, and abused with impunity in this life. What little I've gained can be taken away in an instant. And because I effectively have no support, with no one but myself to rely on, they always get away with it. Why do I even bother with living? This isn't.

A lot of shit has piled up on my life doorstep. I feel I'm barely managing. And the worst part of it is? The sense nobody outside the immediate family cares. I can't shake the sense that all the "connections" I have outside that are fleeting, and fragile at best.
