I feel like both sides are so siloed that they don't understand each other's basic drives. Rs, especially MAGA, don't give a shit about sex trafficking while Ds don't give a shit if members of their own party are implicated.

Everytime I hear these idiots saying "If he was actually a king, you wouldn't be allowed to protest" I have to wonder if they are even passingly familiar with formation of our country? The Declaration of Independence was a PROTEST AGAINST A KING!

People screaming "Steven Miller should be hung!" truly expose the decline of our public discourse. Everyone needs to just step back, take a breath, and realize that the word is "hanged".

House Democrats Vow To Hold President Accountable With Agriculture Bill Where First Letter Of Every Line Spells Out âImpeach Trumpâ
WASHINGTONâSeeking to mollify a segment of their base clamoring for inquiries into the presidentâs misconduct, House Democrats announced Tuesday that they would be holding the administration accountable by voting on an agricultural bill in which the first letter of every line spells out âImpeach Trump.â âWe believe this is a fair compromise that falls short of the full impeachment inquiry some have asked for, but still shows voters who have the correct decoder that Democrats arenât taking this presidentâs crimes lying down,â said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, telling reporters that the bill had been brought to the floor despite objections from Democrats in battleground districts who generally favored a more complex alphabetic cipher that would eventually spell out âImpeach Trump if polling improves,â or, âImpeach Trump at the ballot box.â âWhen our children look back on this period of history, they will know that the Democratic party served as a check on this corrupt administration by putting forward a bold and straightforward word puzzle proclaiming that this is not who we are as Americans.â At press time, an elated Hoyer confirmed that the House had secured the billâs passage after tacking on an additional $2.5 million in funding for the presidentâs border wall.

Democratic Leaders Stand Real Still In Hopes No One Notices Them
WASHINGTONâWith the elected officials trying their hardest not to move a muscle, reports confirmed Monday that top Democratic leaders in Congress were standing real still in hopes that the American people wouldnât notice them. âDonât make any sudden movements, or theyâll spot us,â Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said out of the corner of his mouth, [âŠ]

I honestly think that a new FL theme park opening helps ALL theme parks in the area and I expect that Epic Universe will be a great theme park. But, can we stop it with the raving about the portal concept? It is just a classic hub & spoke design with prettier walkway signs.

If you live in a state that allows you to easily change your party affiliation online and you are disgusted with the lack of action being taken by the dems - send them a message and switch to independent. (You can always switch back before the primaries).

Two questions about Mel Gibson: 1. Why does he now look like a wax figure of Mel Gibson 2. When did we, as a society, decide that it was cool to support his work after years of (correctly) pointing out how deeply problematic and (unapologetic) he is?
