First thing I thought about was Matt Rhodes fantastic and evocative Dragon Age: Inquisition art. The idea of throwing this out to AI instead of artists is sickening and my hype for Divinity absolutely plummeted

I don't know why the idea of developing concept art with AI is somehow meant to convince us that AI isn't replacing creative professions, when concept art is one of the single most creative and imaginative parts of the entire development process.

Early Access and the way they managed their community across all their updates helped humanize that team in ways that only helped Baldur’s Gate 3, weird for the studio to be so willing to throw all that goodwill away.

Hearing that Larian used ai for the concept art of the new divinity has completely killed all interest in the game for me.
