So far, no additional RIFs at NIOSH, but thousands of others in critically important programs across HHS and CDC. Even including some folks who had been exempt from furlough and required to work without pay. Abhorrent.

Days after a lethal shooting at the main CDC campus, RFK Jr. and a number of additional HHS "leaders" have filed an appeal against a narrow injunction currently protecting employee jobs for a small subset of HHS and CDC, including NIOSH. RFK has yet to denounce violent terrorism by antivaxxers.

We knew in our guts while hiding that the shooter was targeting us. This violence is driven by anti-vaccine propaganda. And the rot start at the top. Just this week RFK Jr canceled all mRNA vaccine research while lying about the technologies safety and effectiveness.
